Ibis Ripmo V1 owners

If you've got a Ripmo V1 you'll know the issue of stones getting flicked up, getting trapped in the linkage and crunching the carbon in that area. 

 

Ibis have just released the Ripmo Carbon V2 where they addressed the issue with some kind of protector that was spotted in the first reviews. 

 

I emailed Ibis and asked about the issues and what V1 owners were supposed to do. Straight away they said to send on the warranty conformation email and they will send out a kit from the US to install which will solve the problem.
