What was the reason for replacing the shocks of your Momsen, are the air or springs?

I had an issue with the Suntour air fork....I received the replacement parts (air cartridge) and fitted but had the same issue again a few months later. I did receive replacement parts again but wound up buying a new fork...not saying you will have an issue (I had no problem getting replacement parts but I did fit them myself...)

Do note that this bike takes a straight steerer fork...and your wheels are also 9mm QR...replacement forks are a bit scarce with these requirements.

The fork on the bike you are considering is a coil fork

Its also an 8 speed....for me personally....I would offer around R2/2500 or hold onto your money and save or shop around a bit more...This is what a new 2018 model will cost you...

Thank you for all your input, i realy appreciate it. One last thing, the lock out knob does not work properly. What could be the cause and what will it cost to fix?

To be honest I wouldn't bother throwing money at fixing it..(Unless you can do some DIY and have a look yourself).I can count on one hand the amount of times I have bothered using my lock out (then again I am seldom on smooth roads etc...last used lock out for the 94/7 road race last year)....If you can get it for a good price then its a good start to see if the sport is for you or not before you throw tons of money away...save some money for a helmet and shorts and shoes etc....
