turtlek Posted July 2, 2008 Posted July 2, 2008 hi all i am looking to start a thursday morning mountain bike ride that will start at about 8am in the kempton park area will be about 60-80km at quite a decent pace so if you keen pm me with your phone numbers and or mail addresses so that we can make this a weekly thing and if you want road rides we might be able to organise thins aswell!!!

turtlek Posted July 8, 2008 Author Posted July 8, 2008 not as serious with the off road as with my road riding but i am looking to be super strong for the crater cruise and sabie experience and nope not pensioner dont own a business just work at an ice rink where i get thursdays off and cant go training alone because its not safe!!!!!!
turtlek Posted July 11, 2008 Author Posted July 11, 2008 went on my first ride with a fellow hubber yesterday it was nice and easy with a few undulations on the way we ended up going 55km because of time constraints(le tour) and was not actually that cold so any hubbers looking to join us again next week are more than welcome to just pm me and we can make plans

I didn't see you down there the few times I went. I managed to put in a game there a few weeks before I moved down to the Cape. Still love it, and may decide to play some vet's hockey down here if they have a league running. Enjoy the riding.
turtlek Posted July 13, 2008 Author Posted July 13, 2008 sean nope i havent joined eddie and glen they are a rip off and my cycling is way too important to me so i dont want to risk injury and why are you not scared of me when playing hockey i think you should be seeing as you never played against me hehehe and also i think you will play in the second division tromps i come down to cape town evey now and then but cant stand the cape town drivers they are hectic dodgy and very unpredictable when next i head down to the cape i will contact you guys and we can ride then but for now i am gonna try organise a ride here please people dont be scared i promise i wont hurt you (i hope not anyways)
