Specialized stumpjumper HT

Hi guys

I want to know would a 2.4 Maxxis Recon Race tyre fit on a Specialized Stumpjumper HT 29er? Specifically at the back? I have a rigid fork and that clearance would be enough. Hope to hear from you.

I have run 2.35s on Stan's Flows. These were super close to the frame, and in muddy conditions would result in tub. 2.3s seem fine.

Flows have a 29mm rim width (no internal). This also has a bearing on the size of the wheels that you can use.

Thanks so much. I have the Roval allimunuim wheels on. Do you perhaps know what the inner and outer width is on them? The readon why i want to go wider is because of the rigid fork. Wider tyres will give me more suspension.
