Here's how I would rate them:

Used for:<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

18 months

Price Paid:

???? ? can?t remember, but they were second hand

Bought:

British Cycling

Strengths:

Strength, durability, ease of maintenance, the hubs are silky smooth. More aero then the Mavics. Sapim spokes more readily available

Weaknesses:

None come to mind

Similar Products Used:

Ksyrium SL, Dura Ace

Bike Setup:

Giant TCR Advanced ISP T-Mobile, Dura Ace, Cinnelli Ram, Fizik Arione Carbon, Look Keo Ti

Bottom Line:

The wheels are head and shoulders above the Mavics. They?ve never needed truing since I bought them and they were second hand. The wheels spun silky smooth after subjecting them to 2 full winters commuting into <?: prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />London. I sold them on thinking the Ksyriums and Dura Ace wheels were enough, in hindsight I should have sold the Ksyriums.

Hey Desmond just settled on a pair of them at Action Cycles where my new bike is being built.

Weight +- 1580g.

Looks super sexy and if they are half as good as my old Easton Vista SL's I dont think I will regret my decision.

How much are they selling for?

I'll PM you I bought them as a packaged deal together with a cervelo RS frame.

Read some reviews on the net. Some people are complaining of breaking spokes, but they weigh over 90kg.

Other people have nothing 'but praise for them and says the R4 hubs are buttery smooth and the best wheels they ever owned.

That's why I decided to buy them at my lbs rather and have some sort of recourse should something go wrong.

I weigh about 75kg so I don't think I'll have problems.

I've made up my mind. I am going for a set. Now just to get the best price.....

Everything I've heard so far is positive. I am sure this will be an upgrade on my SL's.
