Hi All

Quick question regarding Dura Ace R9100 cranks.

I bought a set from here a little while ago and noticed the left crank arm pinch bolts didn't have washers. Do these cranks need washers (I'd assume yes as every other set I've ever used had washers - granted this is my first DA set of cranks)

My next question is where can I find washers? The bolt ports are narrower than other cranks so I can't just switch the washers out. The other cranks I have seem to use M6X10X0.8mm washers and these DA cranks would need M6X9X0.8mm which is proving difficult to find.

The supplied bolts should have those washers in place. They don’t come off easily. If you bought the crank 2nd hand it sounds like the previous owner swapped out the original bolts. Replacements are available from Coolheat. Because it’s an aluminium to steel interface the washer is necessary to ensure direct and balanced bolt torque
