Malelane Area rides

Hello All. Any MTB trails/rides around Malelane Mpumulanga? Wondering if worth my while taking the bike along for a long weekend.

There are some, if you are on Strava, check under the segments - the Kaalrug loop looks like a "nice" day out.

I also know that the guys from Komatiepoort do outrides to Marloth Park ( just watch out for trucks on the N4(

@shamangoofYou should be able to see the routes people frequent on Strava. As mentioned by @WR 1.0 you can ride Kaalrug. 

In Hectorspruit (about 20 km away) there is nice riding on the farms. Contact Dirk Lourens from Dirk Lourens Cycles - I am sure he will be able to assist.

Here in Komatipoort we are spoilt - we can ride on some of the farms (only on some of them and only if you are a registered rider as these are working farms) - We can also ride to Marloth Park, luckily you can avoid the N4 when doing this.

You can even drive to Marloth Park and stop at one of the restaurants and do a ride. If you ride all along the fence you will be able to do 30km+. A nice bonus is that a big portion of this route is against the Kruger National Park.
