Ciovita Baselayer Sizing

Good Evening Hubbers! 

I'm looking at some baselayers for the cold winter. Recently tried on a First Ascent one in Medium and it felt a bit loose? I'm normally Ciovita Size Large Jerseys and Medium in their Bib Shorts... So now I'm confused if I should go Medium/Large in these Ciovita Baselayers. https://ciovita.co.za/products/mens-strato-undervest-2pk-white-and-black

Hi

I have both the short sleeve and long sleeve Ciovita baselayers in 2xl and they fit nice and snug just like I want them. For reference, I also wear 2xl in their racefit jerseys as well. Downsizing might not be a good idea but I stand to be corrected. If fitting one is logistically not practical they are quite cool with exchanges.
