Hunter Allen's Comments:

Finally a day that Adam didn't have to cover the early moves!

37% in active recovery zone and 22% of the total time spent NOT pedaling.

O.k., now it's looking good to make it over these Alps for Adam!  He's gotten 3 days of 'relative' rest and that's good. Have you noticed that his TSB is starting to climb 'positively'?  It's still way deep in the -80's, but thats better than the -117 on Tuesday the 15th!

Really, today, only the last 30 minutes of the stage was their action for Adam, and then it was ACTION.

Check out the pulls he takes in the last 8 minutes alone!  He and Markus were DRILLING IT at the front.  How about over 550watts at over 42mph with 110 cadence? Yes, you saw that correctly....42mph !!!!

I guess when you KNOW you have a stage winner on your wheel, then you can ride faster than before.  Score #4 for Cavendish!  With Adam and Markus on the front, I don't see anyone able to beat Cavendish. From CyclingNews, ....Cavendish was asked whether he does any special training for the bunch sprints, Cavendish replied: "I just ride my bike. I enjoy it. I sometimes do a bit of sprint training. But I have a really great team that pulls very hard for me in the final kilometres."...

That says it all right there and this file is from one of the guys that helps him win stages.  Enjoy!
