Forest Boogie | 15 - 16 March, Arminel Lodge

After staging the Forest Boogie in Tsitsikamma for the last two years, we have decided to make it a two-day mountain bike stage race and move the venue to Hogsback, with the Arminel Hotel as our base. Our reasons are twofold: firstly, we want to preserve the trails of Tsitsikamma for our M&G Investments PE PLETT event; and secondly, it has been years since the town of Hogsback last hosted an MTB event in the forests of the Amatola Mountains. The date has been set for the 15th and 16th of March, 2025.

 

The Forest Boogie will have two classes: Gold and Silver, with the Gold route covering approximately 61 km per day and the Silver route a more modest 32 km. A separate e-bike class will tackle the Gold route.

The Arminel Lodge will be our host venue, encompassing the Forest Boogie race village, and will provide excellent accommodation and sumptuous meals.
