Request for Sponsorship: Cycling Tour Across South Africa to Promote Tourism on YouTube

My name is Robert Owen , and I am an avid cyclist and content creator with a keen interest in promoting the beauty of South Africa through the lens of a camera. I am writing to seek financial support for an ambitious and exciting project – a cycling tour across South Africa, with the aim of promoting tourism through engaging video content on YouTube.

 

Exploring the diverse landscapes of South Africa on a bicycle offers a unique perspective and a slower pace that allows for a deeper connection with the environment and the local communities. My goal is to capture this journey on video, showcasing the breathtaking scenery, vibrant cultures, and hidden gems of South Africa to a global audience through our dedicated YouTube channel.

Since you are offering EXPOSURE, I suggest you briefly mention the number/type of social media exposures you are offering…

”…Mentions and endorsements across our social media platforms…”

Yes, you can thrash out details if/when you find a potential sponsor, but, for me, your “mentions & endorsements’ could use some ‘fleshing out’ to gain quick interest, such as, say: 4 or 5 social media channels, on a weekly/fortnightly basis, etc…

Use it/dont use it, and good luck; RFS’s are allover at the moment; make yours POP…

I would also suggest you post a link to some of your previous content and an indication of the kind and amount of coverage it has received in the past. This allows potential sponsors to see if their target market is getting reached. If you haven't yet done this, then I'd suggest you plan a shorter 3 or 4 day trip first and get creative as possible. Then use this video as a promo.

Creating crap content is easy. Creating engaging and creative content is however both challenging and time consuming and most of the hard work happens behind a laptop doing editing.
