MintSauce Posted July 23, 2008 Posted July 23, 2008 Rode JHK on Sunday. The lower sections were a mess. Obviously caused by the recent rains. And I doubt those streams will return to there natural routing. They need to divert either the water or the ST or build ladder-bridges. I doubt the problem will sort itself out.
HomerSimpson Posted July 23, 2008 Author Posted July 23, 2008 On the lower sections there seemed to be a number of "fountains" that have appeared....if it was in town I'd suspect a broken water main! Problem is that the single track sections offer a natural runoff option. I have noticed (on the Lower Canary last year) that simply making a furrow off the track with a suitably sized stick is actually very effective in diverting water. The fact is that most of us don't want to stop to do stuff like this...
