After loads of time on trails and coastal pathways and urban exploration and a bit of racing on my HT I want to get back on the road as well.  I shouldn't have listened to the orthopaedic guys and the physio during decades away from bikes after a stable lumbar spinal fracture playing rugby.  I've found that cycling has been great for spinal column physiology and even better for all around sharpness.

My intention is mostly fun "junk miles" and some focused training prior to a few events annually.  I'm considering this, but it has a non-OEM and non-matching clincher wheelset and this rear hub.

I'm told the bike is currently about 7.2kg.  105 groupset, cassette and chainrings appear to be good.  What is this hub?  Would I be better off finding a tubeless wheelset?  Used carbon or a good alloy set is what I have in mind.  Might have to wait a month or two before acquiring those.  Frame and brakes can reportedly accommodate up to 30c tyres.  What considerations may I be missing wrt the wheelset?

Pretty sure that is a power meter hub. The blurry symbol I can't quite make out (did you take the picture with a potato?) looks like a CycleOps/powertap variant, possibly the SL+ model

It should have a serial number or model number so you can check on how to change the battery and have a power meter

Hah!  😂  Not my potato in this case, a zoomed in ad image from this site.  Thanks, I had no idea what that is.  Will do a bit of reading.
