If you sweat like a pig on the IDT, get a fan, turn it on full blast, and aim it right at you.  You should be shivering when you start.ConfusedThumbs%20Up  Otherwise you overheat.  Very very bad.  That's not the same as a glucose bonk, but it can kill you.Nuke

 

If it's a closed spinning class, and they have no fans or air circulation, find a better venue.Stern%20Smile

 

If it's less than 90 minutes, and you don't sweat, plain water is OK. Otherwise use an electrolyte replacement thingy in your water bottle.

 

If your heartrate is at or above 95% for 60 minutes reduce resistance.LOL

 

If you feel like you got hit by a bus because you fell asleep and fell of your IDT, and hit your head on the coffee table, increase resistance.LOL

Sounds like the training is structured as a hi intensity work out which partially explains your fatigue. Riding an IDT is harder imo as you don?t get the opportunity to coast / soft pedal / freewheel / and despite all the various IDT manufactures claims riding with artificial resistance does not = riding on a real road (real road is easier imo).

 

 

 

Base rides with Robbie: you are not allowed to drop your HR below 60%, but you're not allowed to take it above 75%.  And no standing either: stay seated.

 

So you pedal like crazy at 130 cadence on the downhillsOuch, keep it steady on the flats (don't hide from the windBig%20smile) and use your easiest gear on the uphills.Clap

 

You work on the downhills, and recover on the uphillsLOL
