Anybody knows what the current thought are on Carbon hardtail MTB's vs Aluminium's? Always a massive price difference, but is it worth it???

Also can't find any worthwhile reviews comparing the two.

Imo only get a carbon mtb if the grams you save over alu is realy important, or you have lots of money to spend. On a MTB, tyres & suspension will do most of the damping of bumps & vibration, the frame will have a very small contribution.
