_Daemon_ Posted August 21, 2008 Share Freeride hardtails are definitely gaining in popularity....not sure I'd want to try it though Must be weird to have all that travel on the front and nothing in the back For sure, reckon one of the main reasons is it's so much easier to pedal around than a DS FR rig. My STP is more of a jump / urban bike but it's got not problems to "freeride" it it must. Love the bike to bits....will take alot for me to upgrade to a DS FR frame. Think it suites SA more as well where we don't have seriously big stuff, north shore and so on related as they have overseas.
