Mackem Posted September 15, 2008 Posted September 15, 2008 Cycles Direct had their first DC training ride this Sat Morning. The ride left the shop at 6.30 and the group headed up to Yzerfontein on the West Coast road, turning in and passing through Darling. The bunch split at the turning to Atlantis with most of the guys going back to the shop via Atlantis for about 130km with a few hardy souls riding through Durbanville to do about 160km. All in all a good morning's ride! Thanks to Craig Wicker for arranging the ride and Craig Brookstein for the support vehicle.

That's just wrong, luckily the shadows and wind were kind to me Great ride, big thanks to Slicker for superb organisation, Brookstein for the backup-bakkie Only 3 hardcore nutters (well 2 and a half cause I'm so big) made it up Tikkiedraai and 172km later we we're back from about the best day's riding the WC has offered up this spring!!

Living proof that I'm not the shortest dude in Cd When Jimmy, myself and Al are on the front I think the turbulence we generate actually hinders the riders behind us.
