Flowta Posted September 17, 2008 Posted September 17, 2008 Once you set those cantilevers they worked very well but the setup was a pain in the ass and you had to constantly adjust them. Could they make specific road levers for V-brakes? Surely thats not the reason they dont use them. Tektro make road levers for V-brakes' date=' Cane Creek as well (actually made by tektro) and as far as I know mini-V's will work road levers (brifters). Otherwise use travel agents with normal V's[/quote'] locally available? Not sure, I've got my old cantis which I was thinking of using with ordinary brifters. Try asking your LBS to check with Tektro on the levers. Travel agents I'm not sure about. Mini-vs I've seen on some tandems so I'm sure they are available locally.

Dirtbreath Posted September 17, 2008 Author Posted September 17, 2008 Tektro's and Dia-compe make these levers but they dont get good reviews. The direct run or the canti cable might be an advantage as well.
