dont canti arms stick out more than V brakes???? or am i thinking too hard again????????????

 

it's ok, we know where you're from?Wink

 

this is what i have in mind for the singlespeed. will call it the alice b toeclips bikeLOL

Once you set those cantilevers they worked very well but the setup was a pain in the ass and you had to constantly adjust them.

 

Could they make specific road levers for V-brakes? Surely thats not the reason they dont use them.

 

 

Tektro make road levers for V-brakes' date=' Cane Creek as well (actually made by tektro) and as far as I know mini-V's will work road levers (brifters). Otherwise use travel agents with normal V's

Not sure, I've got my old cantis which I was thinking of using with ordinary brifters. Try asking your LBS to check with Tektro on the levers. Travel agents I'm not sure about. Mini-vs I've seen on some tandems so I'm sure they are available locally.
