VincentBikes Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 come on guys dont tell me you are using the Garmin training software ??? you need to download sports tracks and use it instead http://www.zonefivesoftware.com/SportTracks/with the 305 edge you connect your unit to the program and import your ride.with the 705 you import the tcx file. it should be saved in your history folder of the garmin.if you need help send m a email trevorgatdspdotcodotza and i will try and help What is the main differences??????
hagar Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 just download it and see the additional reports and stats are awesome. you can even get a weather report for a specific area. you can get your ride on google earth, various reports like,summary,speed,elevation,workout,cadence,power. you can add in combinations of gradient/ speed/heartrate /cadence ect ect it just goes on and on. give it a try was the best bit of advice i have received on the hub to start using it Fandacious helped me
Minion Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 with the 705 you import the tcx file. it should be saved in your history folder of the garmin.You don't even need to do this anymore. The latest version allows direct import of 705 files.

Exactly what I was thinking, and I'm closer On a more serious note, Muxman (almost lost my nuts, but Avnic pulled through just in time) and Slowpoke can vouch that I stand by garmin and their service. Come do the Crit at the Dome on Tuesday and bring it with. I am very sure that between myself and Avnic (Garmin), your problem will be sorted.Pocketbikes2008-10-08 15:29:26
