Tony Impey Cycles - bike service

I have now had 3 mountain bike services at Tony Impey Cycles and have to report how impressed I am. The shop doesn't stock my bike make, but each time they've done an excellent job. It's clear that the bikes get proper test rides before being returned to the customer, so the customer gets a 100% functioning, sparkling clean bike and also feedback on any potential future changes to the bike. After trying several other shops in North and East JHB and being very disappointed, I'm pleased to have found a very reliable and well-priced service centre.

how else do you think ol Tony stays so fit ?? I have had excellent service there too, his mechanics are top notch.

Sounds good but I would hate it if someone else gives my bikes a proper test ride. Imagine if youtake a downhill or jump bike in. What "qualification" do they have to give it a proper test ride.

Dont get there often as its a bit of a schlep for me but pop in when the vicinity. I find his prices reasonable and they dont harass me but let me browse around at leisure.
