Front Derailleur Advice Needed Please

I am in the process of sourcing a new FD for a Giant XTC hardtail. The one I currently have on is top swing, I saw a few XTC's on the web with conventional swinging action. My question is which should I get and does it make a difference if the angle of the cable from the cable stop to the FD hasn't been affected too much? Thanks guys.   XTC12008-11-18 02:03:07
