Thanks for the weekend's riding. Killed myself on Saterday and picked up all my limbs on Sunday! Bloody pro's had to make the pace "red hot".

Taking a break for the next three day's, (still working) but will be back on the bike on thursday. To the HOP (house of paint) guy Michael no pacing (BMW) up the first hill hey! LOL

Ha ha true that Predictor! The wind was an issue today! Has a flat so was on my ace up the Steps into it this morning

 

Dudes, this is seriously not a good practice at the mo'.

 

Cyclists are being bike jacked by the dozen on the steps.

 

Please do not go up the steps solo. Rather wait for someone else or try to find someone to ride with.

 

There have been a number of jackings in the past few months with at least one or two a weekend.

Well' date=' I had a great weekend of riding! Saturday the guys went looney on the back road to the bridge.

Sunday, went long with the big guys...was a great hard ride. Sorry Kieran, thought the pace would be easier than it was! The guys set a mean pace up the hill after the short/long split.

Sounds like Saturday was a good one for me to miss.

 

Had an enjoyable ride on Sunday at a civilised pace. I even managed to hang onto the bunch up the steps and did some work up front too. Then I went up Butchers afterwards to go to my boet in Oakdene.

 

If the weather tomorrow am is goos we can hook up at Xumbugs for a ride. And maybe every do a "kyk weer" on Wed and Thursday. I should be at Xumbugs every AM this week with the exception of Christmas day.

 

Feel free to join me. I'm sure there will be others there too. Shall we make it 7 am every day?

Not really on my ace, just felt like it though! Had 5 slower guys on my back wheel who kept on falling back so kept waiting. Only left them after the BP at the top

Yo! That pace up the first hill was pretty hard hey! There was only a handfull of us at the top, what bike were you on dude? Would have been cool to know a fellow Hubber was there!

I'm in no rush, so we can take all day if you want! Head out to Three Rivers, stop and have a drink and some road side chocolate and head back. Its a nice ride and long!

Hey all you hubbers, I have been bike shopping again. Decided to add to my family https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=71078. Now my 12 yo daughter can join us on some rides and I can really work hard while she is with on the ride.

 

Took her out yesterday and she sure is nice.

 

I will see if I can hook up with you okes on Thursday solo for now as this might be exactly the ride I need this week.

 

Need some time but also spare energy for the weekend SBR ride (Sunday)

Tachymeter, Predictor...It would be great to have you guys along. We could leave at 7 with the usual Xumbugs crowd, or head out even earlier if you want? I'm game, just wanna know whats easiest for you guys?

 

I rode this morning at 7 with the Xumbugs crowd, smallish group of about 20 guys. Was nice as we had a certain Tour De France stage winner, as well as an MTN pro, a Medscheme pro and our very own South African hour record holder join us this morning!
