How was the riding this morning?

I rode with Nance this morning and we did some hills! :D Was a nice session. But what have you done to the weather. Clear skies when I left home and then I saw the clouds coming in from the South East! Looked like it would rain but luckily it didn't. Oh, and I was on my Trek this morning while I wait for a new BB from Ha Ha. :P

I had fabulous runs last night and this morning. Hitting the IDT this afternoon, then a run again on Friday

Sounds good!

How far did you run?

What you doing this weekend?

Last night was 9.1 km, including 2x1000m & 2x800m intervals

This morning was 9.5km over a undulating course - no big hills, but never truely flat

Tonight = ~70 minute IDT session

Friday = 9.5km run (AM),

The weekend:

Saturday = AM: 90minute IDT session, PM: 60min IDT session (with a trip to the Pta Zoo inbetween)

Sunday = 15km run

And Monday is a rest day :clap:

to put not truely flat into perspective.. that 9.5km 'undulating course' had 122 meters of ascent compared to the 166 on the 40km short loop in Alberton :D

Sounds good Agteros. Are you training for any running event?

Kinda ;) The running rubs off quite well on the cycling cardio!

Comrades? :thumbup:

That is good! Perhaps I should think of bringing my running shoes out the cupboard.

There is more to running is SA than ultra marathons :)

My Comrades mantra goes like this: "If I ever mention that I want to do it, drag me outside and shoot me!"

Ok, I will remember that! ;)

So if not the shoot me race then what? Two Oceans? :lol:

Maybe 10km or 1/2 marathons at a push.... neither running nor cycling is really MY sport... doing the sport where running and cycling is combined into one event

Andy, you read just like the Kid!

Sprint distances are typically 5/20/2.5 (Run/Cycle/Run) (draft legal)

Olympic: 10/40/5 (Non drafting)

Long distance - really onlythe Afriman (10/70/5) (non drafting)

Oooh, and I wanna go do the exterra du as well :)

The others have been quite quiet today... maybe they should quit pretending to work hard now?

I made that remark on purpose because it would be something Kid would say.

Oh ok.

In the non-drafting events are you allowed TT bikes?
