Andyr249 Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Slave, you need a goal man! It is the only thing that gets me to ride my bike in the lounge On the other hand though, next weekend I'm due for a long ride again, and can do it outdoors. So... I am thinking about this one http://www.mapmyride.com/ride/south-africa/johannesburg/217128026392736157 What you guys think about it? The the 94.7 route?
Andyr249 Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 yeah, why not? Ride it. It will be fun! After that we must do some MTB'ing.
Guest agteros Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Ride it. It will be fun! After that we must do some MTB'ing. Can't do, will have to fight a bit of traffic to get back home
Slave Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 FOFLMFAO @ Ox. I take it Oxman, that you have an entry for the race. (or that you are looking at getting one on the hub or some junk.) I think what I will be doing on cycle challenge Sunday is taking a ride to the Parktown ridge to hurl insults / water bombs / ribald abuse and other such junk at the participants. If I see you, I will ride with you for a bit and then head home. If you remember, take a look up at the bridge crossong over the M1S just before you get to the top. I'll be up there. It,s very easy to get to St Andrews from there. Who knows, I might even take a chance and wait on the M1 itself if I can get there. Although the view from the bridge is quite cool. You can see all the way down the hill. Anyone else see me there, say "hey".

Andy initially wondered who'll ride with me, but he seemed to have figured my answer is 25K random cyclists. Wondering what group I'll be cycling with then.. 2008: YY 2009: XX2010: ?
Andyr249 Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Can't do, will have to fight a bit of traffic to get back home Not immediately afterwards but in the weeks afterwards. Btw, I have decided that I will only ride out South this coming Sunday. Probably just the short loop at 7am before I head through to the hills to feel better.
Guest agteros Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Not immediately afterwards but in the weeks afterwards.Plenty of bike riding coming up in December.... ICG morning groups, Crits, Club rides, Northern Farm, Breedts Nek with Nance?(I hope) Welcome to join on any (or all), but I'm not racing anybody on any of these. Just following my own program/agenda
