Replacement Part for Bottom bracket

I need to replace my bottom bracket on my Specialized Epic - on the spec sheet it says the BB is a Shimano M762 XT custom for Specialized - what part can I look to replace this part as I cannot seem to find this exact part?

 

Would fitting an LX component be downgrading the bike specs?

I put a KCNC bottom bracket on my S-Works Epic.

 

You can put any bb on as long as it is English thread.

 

The issue becomes one of weight weenie or durability.
