Isn't the culture and history amazing. We could be setting up our own cycling culture - Poulidor is a hero today in France. Who will remember Robbie H or MalcolmL in RSA in 30 years time? The media should be recording the trial and tribulations of our pros. What do they do on a day to day basis? What are their thoughts an opinions about drugs and international cycling and other things. What are their asprations and what are doing with their lives after they stop cycling? SC could be doing this. Maybe the South african environment will never allow us to develop an SA cycling culture. I think the Hub has a role to play as well. My 2c.

A very good point, who remebers Robbie Mac, Ertjies, Alan Van and Tony Impey. Like most things in this place there is no culture. Oh forgot we have a culture of shopping, moaning and a few other things, do not feel like deep political debate.
