Excellent !!! Been trying to get hold of Chris (one of the guys arranging things I believe) to see if we could have a MUni group do the downhill on the weekend. Will be great if we can......

Will definitely give you a shout. 2 of us made the trip out there a short while ago to do the Tygerberg MTB fun ride which went through the Majik Forest twice.

Was a little disappointed as I was expecting some good technical stuff so I took my 24" MUni along. Next time I'll take my 29'er along rather as the trail flows quite a lot which the 29'er will just eat up Smile

There is PLENTY of technical single track in Eden. To the left of that North Shore stuff and WAY further up. Also to the right higher up is some nice North Shore type stuff that most MTB'ers won't go down.

The new downhill sgl track in Jonkers is quite nice. Not so technical apart from the two road jumps. The rest is fast downhill.

Have you tried Bridal Path in Tokai?

Have ridden in Eden. There was some stuff there, but mostly flowing stuff besides the NorthShore drops. Spoke to Chris about the JH stuff, apparently it also flows a lot and is a very fast single track, not quite what I'm looking for.

Have also done the Bridal path in Tokai, again not very technical. There is a slightly tricky piece near the beginning between the 1st and 2nd swith-backs, but that's about it... besides the switch-backs themselves.

There is some very tricky technical stuff below Downhill 1. There are 2 trails and both are very technical. The first goes off to the right and comes out at Lizard, then 2nd goes straight down and eventually comes out on a very steep drop onto the jeep track on the same level as Lizard, just a little further up.
