Why do companies spend millions on designing "the most aerodynamic wheels EVER" and then go put i sticker on the rim to waste all that time they spent on the rim????????????????????????????????????????

a bit stupid dont you think smiley5.gif smiley5.gif

if you look at easton Zipp (up till this year) and Hed and most other deep section wheels they all have stickers on them

but with lightweight LEW and now the mavic cosmic ultimates they all have laser etched graphics now that is class!!!

Those Lew wheels look amazing. I e-mailed the dude who brings them in to ask about a price. This was before the rand went for a ball of !#@$ and the answer I got was very smiley18.gif smiley18.gif smiley18.gif smiley18.gif smiley18.gif

But honestly, turtle: what difference can a sticker make? They say a not-so-smooth surface is good for aerodynamics hence the dimples on golf balls and the fuzz on tennis balls.

That is a very good comment jules but in all honesty dimples have a smooth interface with the ball and fuzz is soft so basically forms against the ball at speed

where as sickers will never have a rounded edge and will never become one with the wheel

(yes i am sounding like a weight wheenie about this am i not)
