I have been watching Roam a couple of times and the one fall they explained as the guy landing too late after the jump, so he went further than what he was supposed to.

My question is on a constant angle decline, and variable bike angle due to you being able to manipulate the angle, why is that an issue?

I am not a freerider myself, so am more curious as to the science.

Use gyroscopic effect of the wheels to change the attitude of the bike...

The faster spinning wheel will pull that end (front or back) of the bike down.

Timing. If you get your timing wrong on any part of a jump, especially a big one, you're likely to end up with an undignified landing. This guy obviously expected to land earlier than he did and the landing gear (brain/nervous system/body) wasn't quite right. Hence the crash.
