slowtwitch Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 My wheelset, especially front wheel, keeps coming loose i.e. the hub needs constant (once a week) tightening with that special tool (which only my LBS carry) and allen key. Loose as in sideways play even with skewers fastend. It's irretating having to take the bike in every week. Once it's tight, bearings are smooth and all seem fine Didn't expect this from high end wheelset Any advise?
ShortLegs Posted February 10, 2009 Posted February 10, 2009 Contact your LBS who sold you those wheels and ask them for the two red wheel bags, spoke tools, wheel magnet and the tool that comes with the wheels to tighten the hubs/bearings. All ES's come with the items I mentioned from the factory so it sounds like you've been duped.
