I had the Smarties, which are seriously low budget. I knocked the body on all kinds of rocks and stuff, and it never broke. They're made of a soft plastic that doesn't snap so they last.

 

When my Smarties finally died I got a pair of 2007 Candy SL's off CRC, and they are great! Mud = no problem.
