 - its funny how the really good cyclists are so diplomatic and polite when passing backmarkers in a race as I have witnessed in the early days of the Sabie Classic - its the middle/back of the elite pack wannabees like this dude above who have the abusive attitudes' date=' and who leave their gel wrappers all over the course.

I almost started to agree with you here, however I now realise you just have some sort of monster chip on your shoulder. I think I'm going to lean towards JL's initial assessment.

In fact I'm starting to think you are one of the types who likes to shout "GIVE TRACK" to back markers and slower riders as you havn't yet learn't to deviate from the single track to overtake with out disrupting others.

Bust' date=' do a quick search of your recent posts, and you've insulted people around 5-6 times, in fact your most of your posts have a negative edge to them. Take your toxin elsewhere bru. Noob? Yes I'm new to this forum, and please understand, I don't realise my self-esteem from registering on this forum and making a few posts, or get insecure when someone new logs on and starts making noises. Remember, this is not supposed to be a brotherhood?

And no the rules are not that specific but hey it was you who thundered THERE ARE NO RULES with the authority you obviously think you have.

And btw - if mid-thirties is really THAT old (this was a joke at myself) then you've probably insulted more than half this forum.

Look to be honest I have no saak with you - just "continue riding and having fun and laughing", while we make the money.

I see your point Orval. It might be a laughing matter now to some of these guys..but the sport is growing and sooner than later, they will be facing this problem. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I just smile inwardly and think of the many trials we have down here?.so many we don?t even have to fight over them?.

..and it might not be like that elsewhere (no judging) ..but we def have a MTB brother/sisterhood going on over here?

Yip, Cape MTB is off the hook. So many trails here, right on our back doorsteps.

...oh, and we get to leave the mace at home too

Is it just me that wonders how a seemingly self professed experienced rider may get startled by a rider coming from the front on the Spruit in Delta Park where you can almost always see upto 50m in front of you?

And Mr (who's the dude I had the argy bargy with (Mint Sauce I think)) remember that "singletrack" in Joburg means practically a dirt road and very seldomly a hiking trail 30 - 50cm wide.  Use it, don't use it.

Nope, not just you. Not even Steve Wonder could be surprised by another cyclist there.

I don't think he cares, he is too busy serenading Barack and Michelle in the whitehouse.
