Had experience with Goodridge / XTR and it was not a good one 1. Once the correct Goodridge Fittings were bought Scratch had them on in an instant...

 

Moral of the story is buy Goodridge Fittings, their website gives a breakdown of the appropriate fittings for each caliper system.

 

Then it's quite pleasant really.

Thats not good news.I was hoping to be able to use Avid or XTR fittings.Why do these fittings not work properly?

 

The hoses themselves have different external and internal diameters to you normal hoses, they've done away with the olives as well.

Ok!Now give me the good news.Where do I find the Goodridge fittings.Apart from CRC as they dont specify the fittings properly.I am sure someone in SA can help.... smiley2.gif

Have thought about it often enough but have never got around to doing it. Let me know how it pans out.

 

 

 

Had it done with Alligator fittings which all shops should have.Works like a dream. smiley32.gif

Hi, Speak to Mike Bond at International race supplies. They import the Goodridge stuff for our race cars and he told me that he brings in the cycling kits as well. He is near woodmead. 011 804 1275
