 Ok I am 1,74m..... Rode a small Rush..... all depends on ur inseam..... if u have a long inseam then ur seatpost will be to short even on a 400mm seetpost..... check first...... and use a longer stem if needed......

Thanks, did you find the rush comfortable size wise?

 

Looking to possibly replace the hardtail for the scalpel for longer rides.

 

Actually checked and the horizontal top tube length of the small rush is longer than the Scalpel (575 and 559)

 

My current hardtails top tube is 570 - 575 (need to confirm) and I use a layback seatpost and flipped 90mm stem.

at 1.74m a Small will be too small for you.

 

I'm assuming you have average build. Your saddle will be at max extension and you will require a 110mm stem minimum.

 

A medium will be a better fit.

 

I'm 1.71m and ride a medium
