The funny thing is that years ago the fastest bike in the world was made in South Africa by Aerodyne! I'm sure there was a really funny thread going somewhere in the UK about how the Lotus frames were in fact still manufactured in the UK...and if there were no problems with the SA made carbon super bikes' date=' then I really dont have a problem with a carbon bike that comes out of China!

That Lotus frame looks very similar to the Planet X frame that's available for triathlon. I wonder if it doesn't come from the same jigs and stuff. Kiwi?

Yes you can. Two words: Alfa Romeo.

The owners are always going on about passion and whatnot. Makes for great roadside conversation as you wait for the tow truck.

Similarly critical are smart alecs referring to Fiats, saying it stood for Fix It Again Tony...nothing could be further from the truth. I owned one for 13 years, drove the hell out of it and it never failed me.
