Ok I know this question should be asked in Tech Q&A but how would I go about turning a really old MTB into a single speed?? Got an old Avalanche that's just collecting dust..< id="gwProxy" ="">< ="jsCall;" id="jsProxy" ="">

What was he motivation behind the colour? It looks cool.

I found a set of weels yesterday, flip-flophub with new gatorskins on, and ready to go in black.

Now I need to paint the frame and don't know what to do. All the acsent pieces comes in red. So black's my first choice.

Are whe going to get a ride together sometime or the other?

Kept with the original Daccordi frame colour (dark blue) as the base, then lighter blue to make it easier to match-in bits like tyres, saddle, etc. Could have stayed with a solid single blue but felt this might be too "flat"...

An all-black fixie could be cool... if repainting the frame maybe consider a "glitter" under the clear final coat? Or a bling logo on the frame somewhere?Else a dark blue / indigo could also work with the red accents... My 2c worth.

Maybe we should suggest a FLAT day ride for Hubbers with fixies somewhere in the Gauteng area? My son is building one up as well... earliest for me would be sometime in June as I'm mostly away between now and then.
