Anyone else here go to the talk from Suunto about training with HRMs?

 

It was a Club Cyclelab function but I'm sure people took a mate/partner with.

Found it very informative, many thanks to the club, Steve from Suunto and the woman who filled in for him due to the delayed flight.

 

For myself I think I realised again the value of using my HRM for training and it was interesting to hear the advances in general that the manufaturers are making.

Did they talk about upgrading the T6 software to the T6C?

Not that I can recall, but then there was a lot of info floating back and forth..... and I found the one attendee distracting.

Aaaah. Took it up with Suunto a while back but eventually gave up.

 

Did you use your HRM to measure the actual distraction of this attendee?

The lady that started the talk was Amy Lichtenstein - she runs a biokinetics practice at Technogym, and has helped with a lot of our high level athletes, most recently with Chris Froome.

 

She does regular talks on a variety of subjects such as HR training, GI and weight loss, using plyometrics in your endurance training, etc.

Have a Polar myself which I'm happy with.

 

Fine idea, sitting at the back I'm sure she could hear mine though. One reason I stayed standing
