Try cyclelab at Giba - I got to test ride a Trek full suspension XTR demo model free of charge!! I was VERY impressed with them and that was on a day the shop and office were closed - Jason from Giba organised this for me - talking about going the extra mile!!

You can hire MTB's at Giba, but I assume that is only for use in the park, or you could try Cyclelab at Giba, as Flemish Lion says.

Or you can try Cyclesphere - 031 3123811. I'm not sure if they hire bikes, but it is worth a try as Greg is usually very accomodating.

Melvilles dont hire unfortunately. As already mentioned on this thread they suggested asking Greg at Cyclesphere or if you are riding at Giba then hire there.

... and if you are visiting and havent ridden at Giba then I suggest you do :-)
