Beginner here so I need some input.

Anybody riding it?

What is your opinion and why did you decide to buy it?

It has nice components (at least to me)  mix of Sram x9 and x7 components, Tora 318 front shock and Juicy five breaks.

Thanks,

  Aleksandar

If you are a beginner I would not recommend getting a carbon MTB yet. You will fall alot in the beginning and some of those are not gonna be on grass. Untill you can handle your bike and do technical section while clipped in, I would not go for carbon.

Yep I agree with mamparra, great bike but it won't last when you crash allot as a beginner and you also won't appreciate the good ride and parts if you haven't used a cheaper bike.

Great bike though, good parts and price and ripe for upgrading to become a light weight racer

I Agree. It's a great frame, and Schwinn is good value for money. I definitely agree that you should start with an Alu frame, unless you have spare bucks lying around and are a sucker for the carbon look.

Thanks guys, I wish I asked this question before buying bike.

Now I'm a bit worried, it seems falling is inevitable :-)

Maybe bike will look nice with few battle marks (I hope I do not break it).

I looked at merida 900 (price was almost the same) but somehow I liked this bike more also  I wanted bike that I will not have to upgrade any time soon.

After getting it (last weekend) I could not find anything one the net about it and everybody was raving about other bikes so I was a bit worried if I made good decision.

Again thanks for your input and if all goes well tomorrow I go for a proper mtb ride :)

It rides like a wind!

I do not have anything to compare it but WOW it feels great.

Gear shifting is smooth, ride is very comfortable and disc breaks work like a charm.

For now Magic Forest is my only playground until I get fit to tackle other routes.
