QUOTE TIM HENMAN

"Silly to cycle that kind of distance with a current DVT. If a thrombus dislodges and heads to the lungs (pulmonary embolus) you'll end up in ICU or the morgue. Are you on Warfarin? Would definitely wait until off Warfarin (probably around 6 months) before tackling anything like this."

Been to the Specialist, says I must just watch the leg. My Doctor reckons I am safe. It has been about 2months since I found BLOOD CLOT. It is still there yet not as swollen and solid. I had no trouble cycling.

I BELIEVE IN MY MAKER and I know my limits.

QUOTE SEANMORT

"David, I was reading this article the other day http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/151608.php                        and thought of this posting you made. I realise that you haven't had the stroke problem, but I do know you wear compression socks, and was Curios about the effectiveness of them. Do they really help ? Put another way, can you feel a difference with/without them ?"

YES they keep you warm, they are not thick NORTH POLE SOSKS.             You do not SWEAT.

MEDICAL, they give me CIRCULATION. GO look all the Pro Sports Team are now using some form of COMPRESSION in their clothing.
