Santa C Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 What an awesome 2 days of Mountain biking Incredible single track, Stunning riding...Did any other Hubbers do this race? If any one is looking for an awesome 60km and 45km 2 day race, try this one!!

singletrackmind Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Yup i did the 45km on suday! Was good but i popped my shoulder twice Did you guys find it hard to stay in a nice fast rhythm? I could keep it up. Awesome single track going to the end though
Dustman Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Had a great time. Did the sunday classic.First year with no wind on Sunday. I understand it blew like hell on Saturday. I think the new venue is great with lots of parking and Facilities.I will bring the family next year.The coarse was in my opinion an improvement on the previous 3 years.The Marshy sections and that silly portage up to the power lines were cut out. It was also great to finish on a fast mostly downhill section. On the single track i find the further one looks a head the easier it becomes to maitain a rhythm. I only saw 2 guys go over the hanble bars this yeas ,on the cliff edge this year. Both were hell of a funny to witness. Fortunately both guys were ok. Great turn out of riders.
oclv110 Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Only did the sat ride, had to go and watch the Bulls trash the Sharks. Lots of single track and enough climbing in the beginning. Last 10 km lovely down hill and loads of single tack.Very well organised and another thumbs up for ROAG and the organisers.
