Mountain biking in Pretoria

I find that there are not a lot of nice, safe mountain biking trails in Pretoria. Maybe its because I come from a small place with gravel roads 5minutes from my home, but I could only find one recognised single track- groenkloof

There any number of trails with great single tracks but none of these are formal trails.

Safety is a major problem. Never ride alone.

Depending on where yo are in Pretoria a number of the shops have organised rides on Saturdays and some have rides during the week.
