Whats the least lumens that your light should have for a decent night ride?

I need to look at getting a light but some a weeeeeeee bit expensive for something i may not use oftenConfused

Guys give Radtron in Vereeniging a call (they do mail orders). Parts should work out around R400/R500 (excluding the battery) ... very bright light (possibly in the excess of 700 lumens) offcourse you have to built it yourself.

Well its going to be for everyday use as i hope to start using bike to work, when i can get a place to park my bike and shower.

Anyone got some schematics and i can get my old man to make one he be a sparkie Big%20smile

The best LEDs you get from rabtron as far as I know is luxeons wich is really not leka LEDs!!! you can get a buckpuck from them but that's about it.

Try get cree LEDs they really are the best!! I would've volunteered to build you light but I'm currently busy with exams.

Seen some of the lights and R2000 is not that bad but its a tad steep for something i may not use all the time Cry and I need as much$$$$ as I got a RC6000 fram and want to bulid that up so i can use it. choices choicesCry

you wouldn't be sorry but your bank balance will. if you had a little time you could build yourself a great light, exactly the same as the BL light just way cheaper.
