Not too sure of the size of the magnets you are looking for but if it is strong magnets you are looking for,get an old computer hard drive from a pc shop and strip the magntes out of it. There will be 2 in each hard drive. They are so strong that you will not be able to remove them unless you slide them off or use a pai of pliers.  hope this helps

Cool idea on the hard drive...

 

I found magnetech on the web too. Called them and they have a retailer in the Canal walk Shopping center next to the MTN science lab thing...they sell rare earth magnets.

 

I want a super strong one for my cadence pickup, so I dont get limited to putting it ultra close. I may need some more room.

Hardware shops often sell rare earth magnets too, but only a limited range. They should be fine for a cadence sensor though.
