nickc Posted June 2, 2009 Share DCM use both Taurines and Scalpels - depending on the terrain. The winner at Graskop was on a Taurine. I recently upgraded to a Taurine and it is without a doubt the best bike I have owned - hard or softtail. Having said that I never have ridden a Scalpel so I cannot comment on the ride.I had the choice but chose the Taurine due to the Carbon ride feel and reduced maintenance.Feel free to PM me if you need more info. Also I prefer the blue and black of my '08 to the red black and white of the '09. everyone is doing red white and black these days. is there a special on paint somewhere?
