Installing rear derailleur-DIY guide

Anyone got any links to decent guide on set up and adjustment of rear derailleur

The instructions from Shimano are not the best

 

My LBS has fitted a new one for me but I would like to study up on the exact way of going about fitting and setting up and adjusting it so that I can do it myself should the need arise so a good guide with understandable pictures and explanations would be great

I know that the sheldon brown website and biketutor.com are also good resources, but there is just something about a good book.

it was a great buy!! Definately worth it.
