Is there a need for a large existing, well organised Durban-based road cycling club to have a branch in Johannesburg?

So it is another option where cyclist can pay so they can advertise another brand?

Think of all the money Mr Price can save doing it this way.. What is in it for the cyclists? Free clothing, free CSA licencing, or what?

DO NOT come with brand values and nonsense like that....

The sooner we all learn that there is no such thing as a free lunch the better !!

Quite a speech for a "who cares" voter?

I take it that you are now voting "no"?

And now for a marketing lecture - NO company sponsors anybody or anything without a benefit in the form of a tax incentive and/or exposure for themselves; (see - "no brand values or nonsense like that") - That, my friend - is how busineses operate - whether you like it or not - ACCEPT IT!!!!!

NO Problem with that, but why not put the price of all of this on the table. Obviously you are trying to sell... so I am asking the price for all of this

I am not trying to sell anything here - had a discussion at the vets tour and as clubs are now not province bound and quite a few members live up here - I thought it might be a good idea. (Right now I am not so sure)

All that I am getting out of this is extra work  - no free kit, membership or anything else in it for me. Just enjoyment that I get out of cycling!!

Now to answer your question - Cost: R200.00 per year for the first member, thereafter R 150.00 per additional family member. Kit: R 400.00 per set irrespective of the number of sets you purchase. You can purchase the cycle shirt or cycle shorts seperate. Cost: Cycle Shirt R 210.00 & Cycle Shorts R190.00.....all kit is subsidised

Now THAT sounds better! Much more like a sales pitch smiley2.gif

Another 2 questions:

Is the CSA licence fee included, or excluded (I guess)?

Is CSA licensing optional?
