Speedplay X1 pedals Cracked

Have look at how it should look like below.

Will the cleat still lock into these pedals? Was told today at Olympic Cycles that the pedals are stuffed. Dont the cleat lock under the metal plates?

Both pedals are broken at the same spots.

It should because it clips over the metal part and not the plastic part. But I'm sure they should be replaced by Speedplay. Email them in the states and ask them.

I mailed them this morning so will have to wait. Im also sure the cleat will still work. Thanks

i contacted Emotion Cycling (agents for Speedplay)and had to send them pics of the pedals. They want me to ship them up. Anybody on the forum have problems with Speedplays?
