I need a bike.....BUT haven't the foggiest idea as to which one.

Everyone I know has caught onto MTB fever, feeling left out, so need to join in the fun!!

Ok, so it needs to be a mountain bike, a ladies one of course, and umm...be under R2000. Is that even possible? Doesn't have to be new. I don't want to waste time and money buying a cheap one that is not good tho..

Any help available out there, all you professional people?

what is also important is to know what size you are !!

like your inseam will determine what size you are looking at (small ,med or large)

if you want disc brakes or not ?? my opinion is that good V brakes are sufficent and cheaper to maintain I have just changed from v brakes to disc brakes but cant really feel the diffrence.

full suspension means you have a shock at the rear and front of the bike and a hardtail only has front shocks which i suggest you should look at.

neway just my opinion but i am sure there are plenty of other out there that could help you more !!! Good Luck

The Silverbacks are good value for money bikes. They provide a good starting point from which to build (upgrade), in my opinion.

They have female versions of the entry level Oakland and Reno ranges.
