I did not even feel any discomfort or PAIN. I just had a feeling somthing was broken. I was very fortunate because it was a clean break. I started riding one hand after two weeks. Commute. Doctor okayed my arm in a total of six weeks. He still said he could not see the old break. Also using  a BELL helmet.

It was only yesterday that Willehond was warning Popeye about these exact same railway lines.

Bad luck with the collar bone. You can get on a indoor trainer if you are as desperate as I was. It gets a bit awkward when you sweat though. That sling causes an itch from hell when you get sweaty.

Indeed, I did warn you guys... Anyway, not an I-told-you-so message, I wanted to wish you a speedy recovery!  Relax, it's winter, take some time off and do something different.  That way you come back hungry and ready for lots of cycling in spring.

PS Those rail tracks are dangerous because that are exposed above the tar.  If you don't hit them at 90 degrees you WILL fall in the wet.  Rather get off and walk them to be sure.  Bunnyhopping only advised for the young (who recover quickly) and the stupid.  Rather take the N1, it's actually safer!

Sterkte met die herstel!

Sien jou weer op die pad oor drie maande.

PS: Moet mens rerig 3maande wag voor jy mag ry?  Hang dit nie af hoe erg die breek is nie?
